School is back in session and it is prime learning time in Kindergarten. We will start the month with our thematic unit on Winter and Animals. Books, art projects, and math will be connected to our theme to support learning thoughout the day.
Be sure your child is prepared to go outside every day. They need their own hats, mittens, jackets that zip, and boots (should it actually snow). Please have your child practice getting themselves ready, so they can be independent at school.
Look for notes coming home in their folders and continue reading with your child and completing their homework page. It really does make a difference in making sure your child is ready for first grade.
