We had an exciting first few days of school! When the first bell rang at 8:05 on Tuesday, we started off with 4 monarch chysalides. At 10:30AM one of the third graders saw one of the monarchs begin to emerge. Throughout the day the rest of the monarchs emerged and we released them in the Prosperity Heights courtyard. Hopefully they are on their way to Mexico! We will look forward to searching for more monarch eggs come spring.
