Physical Education at Prosperity Heights

In most educational systems, physical education (PE) is a course which promotes physical activity and various sports. The intent is generally to promote fitness and health, as well as the benefits of team-building, teamwork, sportmanship and fair play.

Prosperity Awarded Fitness and Nutrition Grant


Congratulations to Wally Grant and Marilyn Lindstrom (Parent and Community Involvement Specialist) on receiving a $5000 Medtronic Fitness and Nutrition Grant! We are very pleased that thirteen of our schools and programs will be able to implement new projects and programs for Saint Paul Public Schools students. We are very proud of our work and the benefits it will provide to the students and staff at Prosperity school and our community. The grant will allow for after school studies to inform and educate students about the value of healthy food choices along with exercise in their lives.

Nickelodeons Let's Just Play Giveaway grant awarded to Prosperity Heights



Congratulations to Mr. Grant, Physical Education teacher! He applied for and won a grant to purchase 30 bicycles that will be used by 3 - 6 grade students to improve their fitness
