The 3rd graders have had a great time learning about organisms, living things including plants and animals.  We have cut apart many varieties of fruits to find seeds. 
We have also looked closely at lima beans to see the different parts of the seed, as well as sprouted our own seeds.

We even learned a new song titled "If You Peeked Inside a Seed".  Click below to hear it sung by Mrs. Reed's and Mrs. Erickson's 3rd graders!

In addition to learning about seeds and plants, we have also been observing and learning about another organism - crayfish!
