Writing- January We've started the new writing genre non-fiction, or informational writing.  The students will pick a topic and learn as many facts as they can about their topic and then produce a book to tell what they've learned. Reading- January Our class will learn about a variety of different reading genres, including, non-fiction, fiction, folk tales, fantasy, and biographies. Math-January We've just started a new unit this week involving adding more than two numbers, finding the difference, and two digit subtraction. Health- January We've started leanring about keeping our bodies healthy, both mentally and physically- reducing stress, eating healthy foods, and exercising daily.
